John Green: Harry Potter Nerds Win at Life (x)

I’m not a Harry Potter nerd but I am a nerd in so many respects and it’s true that we are allowed to love things deeply and passionately. What always bothers me about people is that the predisposition to not go full force into something you love because people might perceive it in an unflattering light. If you truly love something and don’t give it the attention it deserves you’re starving yourself of fulfillment. I have so many things that I am immersed in that I could be called a nerd for at least 6 or 7 loves. Ir’a in these niches that I’ve found myself over many years.
