Does this make me a Douche?
So an old High School friend got married. In High School said friend was incredibly homophobic and used to get visibly upset when i would play hit on him. Mind you I'm straight but really have no issue with sexuality and found it funny that he would get so easily offended by somebody he knew was straight blowing kisses at him. He would turn beet red and literally run towards me and pummel me, I'm not really sure why I would specifically goad a friend into a beating but it was always fun seeing him turn so red and pissy when he knew i was fucking with hi. So he posted today on His FB page about getting married and this is the convo that followed (after I congratulated him, and after the teasing we had a civil chat about our lives so I don't think I'm too big of a douche, I still thought that this was funny though.)
Me: Is the wedding why you stopped sending me flowers?
Friend: no the flowers were for your funeral
Me: this is why i love you [Name Redacted], always thinking about the future
Friend someone has to
Me: Why not live in the now? Remember our trip to Belize?
Friend: nope i sure dont...but i remember nyc
Me: The carriage ride through Central park, the first time we... well keeping this going would just be plain rude to your new bride! I wish you both the best!
