When I first moved to Boston in the fall of 2002, the Flaming Lips’ album Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots was in heavy rotation. I listed to that CD nonstop on my discman as I wandered through the city.
They come to town August 30th.

American Craft Brewers Festival Boston
If you are going to volunteer for a BA fest make sure you do fri night. Man what a blast. I got to sample a ton of beer and met a ton of good peoples.
Standout beers for me so far
The Duck Rabbit- Pauls day off and Milk stout. a dark beer specialty brewer from North Carolina. Amazing beers. The milk stout was complex and smooth. Paul’s day off was my favorite of the night as far as i can...

whats amazing about this is how many things we have talked about doing allready, the temptations concert, the south end market,farmers markets,gracveyard tours,hiking(nice to kow about the fells in addiition to the blue hills) movies at the half shell,
and i’m always down for sailing/rowboating,ice cream, urban...

Beerfest, T-minus 3 days
I am so friggen excited to be immersed in the craft brewers world. Even if it is on the side of a grunt. I am really jealous of Kara though, She gets to Pour for Dogfishhead all day. I could talk about their beers for weeks. oh well, I’mon ice for the festival which is great. I get to at least see almost all of the booths. I probably will only be able to taste a fraction of them though.

It took me two hours to get to Somerville because roadwork in Malden backed up 93 to Dorchester (or even further? I can’t tell). WTF. I want my life back!

I found this pretty interesting. While watching beer wars it was mentioned that between Anheiser bush (now inbev) and Miller coors 95% of the beer we drink is made by them. I deceided to put the two lists together so we can see how massive these two companies are.
